Melting Tordesilhas
O litoral norte brasileiro é a região que mais facilmente sofre com os problemas do país. A área colonizada pelos portugueses e delimitada pelo tratado de tordesilhas é até hoje a mais bela e mais delicada. A obra é um discreto protesto do autor ao resultado da falta de seriedade de toda a população, líderes e liderados.
The northern Brazilian coast is the region that most easily suffers from the country’s problems. With his head in the clouds and his feet on the island that looks like a comet in space the author has no alternative but to surrender to the colors he sees on his mental screen. Supostamente, mas somente na mente fértil do artista, um cometa passou a centímetros do Japão. Não teria sido um míssil norte-coreano em brincadeira de guerra?
