和気あいあい Waki ai ai (harmonia)
紫陽花（あじさい）
日本では6月ごろ、雨の多い時期にたくさん咲きます。
花にはそれぞれ花言葉があり、意味があります。
紫陽花の花言葉はあまりよくないものが多いですが、和気あいあいという花言葉もあります。
小さい花が集まって大きな花になることから、みんなで集まって楽しんでいるようだからとついた花言葉だそうです。
花言葉は、トルコのセラム（小さな箱に入れたアイテムに意味つけて、気持ちや言葉を伝える表現方法）に使われていたそうです。
それがヨーロッパへ伝わり、花に恋愛の意味が込められるよう形を変えて愛を伝える手段の１つになったそうです。
神話や伝説、その国の歴史や、花の咲き方で花言葉は決められます。
また、同じ花でも色それぞれに意味があります。
